Jeff Curtis<\/a>\u00a0sailed in “Spark”, his BayRaider. \u00a0 Jeff was sailing with his son, Henry, \u00a0and was one of a number of family teams who attended.<\/p>\n

Julian Swindell was sailing in “Daisy Grace”, his Swallow Boats Baycruiser 20.\u00a0Despite sailing solo he was able to take pictures<\/a> and videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

George \u00a0Isted<\/a>\u00a0 and Anne Warren were sailing \u00a0“Sneaky Shark”, his \u00a0brand-new, beautifully-finished Goat Island Skiff. \u00a0Goat Island is a small island in Sydney Harbour. \u00a0The boat is a Michael Storer design. \u00a0A good account of the Raid and George’s \u00a0building of “Sneaky Shark” can be found here<\/a><\/p>\n

George & Julia Tevelyan<\/span><\/a><\/span> were sailing in “Schuitje”, which was built (and is owned) by fellow Raider Nick Barberton-Smith. \u00a0George’s grandson, Isaac, was the third member of crew. \u00a0On one memorable day I was able \u00a0to leave “Molly” and carry out ballasting duties on board this lively Ian Oughtred-designed Ness Yole beauty. \u00a0Very enjoyable<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
