The Roads offer some of the best sheltered sailing water anywhere, so the location should be perfect for a Raid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The boats will be launched, moored and recovered at Mylor Yacht Harbour (MYH).<\/p>\n<p>The location allows us to offer a little of everything for everyone within the sail and oar community. \u00a0We have the possibility of going out to sea and\/or pottering up some lovely creeks. \u00a0Even if the weather gods try and spoil things , we believe we will almost always manage to put on some sailing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For those of you who haven&#8217;t been to this part of the world it will provide a good taster to the area, and for those who have visited before we think you will agree its a great place to sail.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The exact programme needs to remain as flexible as possible and will depend on tidal and weather conditions.\u00a0 Thus, apart from Monday and Thursday evening\/Friday am, everything is fluid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">MONDAY 1st SEPT<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Day:<\/p>\n<p>Arrival and registration<\/p>\n<p>Evening:<\/p>\n<p>18:00 Welcome reception at Mylor Yacht Club<\/p>\n<p>20:00 Welcome Supper at Castaways<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">DAY A<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at Castaways: 07:30 &#8211; 08:30<\/p>\n<p>Briefing: 09:00<\/p>\n<p>Sail to Helford (Coastal Passage out of Falmouth Harbour)<\/p>\n<p>Lunch on Sailing Club Lawn<\/p>\n<p>Return to Mylor Yacht Harbour<\/p>\n<p>Supper at Castaways: 20:00<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">DAY B<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at Castaways: 07:30 &#8211; 08:30<\/p>\n<p>Briefing: 09:00<\/p>\n<p>Sail up River Fal and the Truro River to Malpas then back to Turnaware Point for lunch<\/p>\n<p>Racing in Carrick Roads<\/p>\n<p>Return to Mylor Yacht Harbour<\/p>\n<p>Supper at Castaways: 20:00<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">DAY C<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at Castaways: 07:30 &#8211; 08:30<\/p>\n<p>Briefing: 09:00<\/p>\n<p>Sail to St Mawes\/ Falmouth<\/p>\n<p>Lunch ( Not sure where) Possibly St. Just in Roseland<\/p>\n<p>Racing in Carrick Roads<\/p>\n<p>Row\/sail to the Pandora Inn, Restronguet Creek. \u00a0Cream Tea and\/or a pint, row\/sail back to Mylor Yacht Harbour.<\/p>\n<p>Supper at Castaways: 20:00<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">THURSDAY 4th EVENING<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Prize giving after Supper<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000080;\">FRIDAY 5th SEPT<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at Castaways: 07:30 &#8211; 08:30<\/p>\n<p>Recover boats\/free sailing<\/p>\n<h2><strong>ACCOMMODATION:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We have arranged for the use of a camp site(Tregunwith Farm) for those wishing to camp or caravan. \u00a0It is just the other side of Mylor Bridge Village, about two miles away from MYH.<\/p>\n<p>For those who are camping, we will be providing a hearty breakfast every morning at the harbour, this will be followed by the daily briefing.<\/p>\n<p>There is also accommodation available, either in the form of self catering flats at MYH, or some small cottages at the camp site. There are also many B&amp;Bs and holiday cottages in the vicinity. \u00a0Hotels are based in in Falmouth which is only five miles away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>FOOD:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We will be eating breakfast and supper in Castaways Bistro, at the Yacht Harbour. \u00a0Packed lunches will be provided on the Tuesday, Wednesday \u00a0and Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>COST:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The cost of the raid is \u00a3220 per person (this includes 3 packed lunches, 4 dinners, mooring fees and car and trailer parking).
